Peer Tutoring

Prefects in the SLO Academic Department are tutoring their peers on the concepts they missed in their exams, revising their Grid questions, and helping them solve their SDP quizzes. Peer tutoring is an example of how SLO is helping to raise the bar of academic performance.  Working together, prefects dedicate their break time to helping their peers and young students become more confident about academic concepts. The tutors practice leadership and teaching skills, gain self-confidence, become mature and more socially responsible, and earn the great feeling of helping a fellow student. We believe that we cannot leave any child to “fail in peace”.
